Christine lives and works in the Western Isles of Scotland. Her work draws on the rugged scenery and unique character of her homeland. Born in the Isle of Lewis 1966 Christine studied drawing and painting at Glasgow School of Art from 1984 - 88. Since graduating she has worked full time as an artist. Christine came home permanently 5 years ago and now works as a fine artist and illustrator. As a painter, she finds the beauty of the surroundings in Lewis and Harris a constant source of inspiration. Christine works mainly in watercolour but often in mixed media, pastel, pencil and occasionally oils. She has work in private collections worldwide including that of H.R.H. The Prince of Wales.
